Cable grommets help prevent rust in outdoor applications where moisture is a factor by providing a barrier between the cable and the surface for which the cable passes through. The grommets help reduce noise in indoor settings by dampening the vibration in the cables.

Cable grommets are installed after the paint or powder coating has been applied to the posts.

The grommets are offered in black UV resistant Delrin®.

**Cable grommets are not required for applications where the end fittings extend through both walls of post frames.
